Christoph Gottschalch

Christoph Gottschalch (* 1969 in Hamburg ) is a German actor, director and author.

Life

After graduating from high school, Christoph Gottschalch completed his acting training at the stage studio for the performing arts and then played a. a. at the Hamburg theater in the basilica and at the Berlin tribune . His television work began in 1997 with a leading role in the twelve-part SAT 1 comedy series "Wir vom Revier" (directed by Friedrich Schaller and Klaudi Fröhlich )

His first theater direction followed in 1998 with Curt Goetz one- act plays for the North Hessian State Theater. More than 30 productions followed, so u. a. for the Nordharzer Städtebund-Theater, the Waldau-Theater Bremen, the Boulevard Münster and the Städtische Bühnen Lahnstein . Since 1999 he has been a permanent guest as an actor and director at the Compagnie de Comédie Rostock , where he also began to write for the stage. Here he is also a member of the jury for the annual awarding of the cabaret prize Der Rostocker Koggenzieher .

He also played in movies such as “ Kahlschlag ” by Max Gleschinsky and with a leading role in “ Effigie - the poison and the city ” (directed by Udo Flohr).

Gottschalch works as a freelancer and lives in Hamburg.
