Christoph Maximilian Griesinger , from 1812 von Griesinger , (born November 25, 1763 in Leonberg , † July 4, 1831 in Stuttgart ) was a Württemberg governor.

Life and work

Christoph Maximilian Griesinger was the son of a government councilor and mayor. From 1781 to 1785 he studied law in Tübingen . From 1785 to 1796 he was a lawyer. In 1796 he was appointed administrator. He took up his first senior official position in 1798 at the Oberamt Leonberg . From 1810 to 1814 he headed the Urach Oberamt and from 1814 to 1831 the Stuttgart Oberamt, with the character of a councilor.

Honors, ennobling

Christoph Maximilian Griesinger was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Württemberg Civil Merit Order in 1812 , which was associated with the personal title of nobility ( ennoblement ).
