Christoph Tiegel (born June 9, 1965 in Dortmund ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

Tiegel grew up in his native Dortmund. After a few mistakes in career planning (banker, actor, pop star, tennis teacher), he decided to enter journalism in the classic way, completed a two-year traineeship at the Iserlohner Kreisanzeiger , where he worked for another year as a local editor. Through his journalism studies at the University of Dortmund and the Uni-Radio project, he got in touch with West German Broadcasting for the first time in 1991 , and then became a freelance radio reporter and presenter, then a news presenter and finally a television presenter.

Christoph Tiegel is married and lives in Dortmund with his wife and two children.
