Christoph Treudel

Johann Christoph Treudel (born April 5, 1593 in Frankfurt am Main ; † April 15, 1648 there ) was a lawyer and senior mayor of the imperial city of Frankfurt.

Life

origin

Treudel was the son of the Frankfurt guest host Hieronymus Treudel, naturalized in 1588 (first in the "Krachbein", then in the "Großer Hirsch") and his wife Dorothea nee Hachstat.

Training and work

He studied law from June 28, 1618 at the University of Heidelberg . In 1619 he received Frankfurt citizenship. From 1629 he was a senator council member in Frankfurt and in 1635 was promoted to aldermen. In 1638 he was senior mayor.

family

In 1633 he married Catharina (1610–1672), daughter of the Frankfurt merchant Hermann Liepold (1574–1627) and Catharina born. Ammermüller (1585–1634)
