Christoph Wagner-Binder (* 15. October 1991 in Linz as Christoph Binder ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper .

Career

Wagner-Binder started his career in his hometown at SK St. Magdalena . In 2007 he went to FC Blau-Weiß Linz . In 2009 he moved to DSG SU Altenberg . In January 2011 he moved on to Union Pregarten . In the summer of 2011 he returned to the second division club FC Blau-Weiß Linz, for whom he made his professional debut in May 2012 when he was substituted on at half-time in the last season game of the 2011/12 season against First Vienna FC . With Blau-Weiß Linz he was relegated to the Regionalliga Mitte in 2013 . After missing promotion in the following two years, Wagner-Binder was able to return to professional football in 2016 with Linz. In the promotion season he was used in every season game.

After the 2016/17 season he left BW Linz. He then moved to the seventh-class SC St. Valentin . In two seasons at St. Valentin he came to 50 first class assignments . For the 2019/20 season he moved to the fifth-class Union Dietach . For Dietach he played nine times in the national league . For the 2020/21 season he moved to the fourth-class ASK St. Valentin .

Personal

At his wedding in August 2019, in addition to his maiden name Binder, he also took the name of his wife, which has since been called Wagner-Binder .
