Christoph von Ritter
Christoph von Ritter (* 1954) is a German gastroenterologist and endocrinologist.
Life
Ritter studied at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau and the Technical University of Munich (1981: Approval ). For one year each worked at the Institute for Pathology at the Technical University of Munich ( Wolfgang Gössner ) and the Surgical Clinic at the Technical University of Munich ( Jörg Rüdiger Siewert ). In 1983 he went first to the department of André L. Blum at the Triemli City Hospital , in 1985 to the Surgical Clinic of the University of the Witwatersrand (Hinder) and finally to the Department of Physiology at the LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport for a two-year research stay , where he from Daniel Neil Granger the Dr. of Philosophy in Basic Medical Sciences ( PhD ).
After obtaining his doctorate ( Microsphere estimates of blood flow. Methodologic considerations ) in 1987 at the Université de Lausanne with André L. Blum, he completed specialist training in internal medicine from 1989 to 1998 at the Medical Clinic II. Klinikum Großhadern with Gustav Paumgartner , where he also completed the Subdivision for gastroenterology and endocrinology acquired.
After two years as chief physician of the medical department of the Vinzentinum Hospital in Ruhpolding , he was chief physician of the medical department of the Prien am Chiemsee district hospital from January 2001 to July 2019 , and from April 2005 to May 2017 also as the medical director of the clinic.
After completing his habilitation in Munich in 1994, he was appointed adjunct professor at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich in June 2001 . In February 2012 he was named a Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association . Benedict XVI. In February 2011 he was appointed advisor to the Pontificium Consilium pro Valetudinis Administris .
Since June 2018 Ritter has been a Senior Consultant in the Dept. of Gastroenterology / Hepatology and in the Dept. of Endocrinology at BonaDea International Hospital in Baku, Azerbaijan.
