Christopher Markus is an American screenwriter .

Life

Markus has been working as a screenwriter in close collaboration with Stephen McFeely since 2004 . They received an Emmy in 2005 for their debut work on The Life and Death of Peter Sellers . Other joint film projects followed, including working on the film adaptation of the Chronicles of Narnia .

Starting with Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), they are involved in the development of the Marvel Cinematic Universe . In this context, more comic adaptations followed , and Markus and McFelly developed the series Marvel's Agent Carter . Her focus is on the character of Captain America .

Markus has been married since 2011.
