James Powell Hayman (sometimes referred to as Jim Hayman ) is an American film and television director and former cameraman .

Life

Hayman has worked as a director since 1984, mostly for television films and series. He staged episodes of Jake and McCabe - Through thick and thin , Amy , Ugly Betty , The Heavenly Joan , The Sopranos , Emergency Room - The Emergency Room , Superman - The Adventures of Lois & Clark , Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , Dr. House , Murder One , One West Waikiki, and Law & Order . In 2010 he directed the television film The Revenge of the Bridesmaids .

Hayman has been married to actress Annie Potts since 1990 , with whom he has two sons.
