Christopher Reitz
Christopher Reitz (born April 3, 1973 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German hockey player of the Rüsselsheim RK , with whom he became German runner-up in indoor hockey in 2000 .
Christopher Reitz was in the goal of the German national hockey team between 1992 and 2001 and played a total of 154 international matches, 151 on the field and 3 in the hall. He took part in three Olympic Games, 1992 in Barcelona - gold medal, 1996 in Atlanta - 4th place - and 2000 in Sydney - 5th place. He also played at the men's field hockey world championship in 1994 and 1998 , two European field hockey championships (1995, 1999) and seven Champions Trophies (1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001).
In 1992 he was awarded the sports plaque of the state of Hesse and the silver laurel leaf , the highest sporting award in Germany, as well as the Bambi , a media and television prize awarded annually by Burda Verlag.
