Christopher Sandford
Christopher Sandford (born July 1, 1956 ) is a British music journalist . He is best known for his biographies of well-known musicians and athletes.
Life
Sandford worked as a freelance journalist for the Evening Standard , The Times , the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail, and the music magazine Rolling Stone . In addition, he published various books. Among them are biographies and a. about the musicians David Bowie , Eric Clapton , Mick Jagger , Bruce Springsteen , Kurt Cobain , Sting , the director Roman Polański and the English cricket players Tom Graveney , Imran Khan and Godfrey Evans . In 2012 he published a biography of the Rolling Stones on the occasion of the band's 50th anniversary.
