The Chrystoforiwka Reservoir ( Ukrainian Христофорівське водосховище ; Russian Христофоровское водохранилище ) is a reservoir on the 59 km long Bokowenka , a tributary of Bokova , in the center of Ukraine .
The Krystoforivka reservoir is located in the west of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in Kryvyi Rih district near the urban-type settlement Khrystoforivka .
The reservoir was created by the 3–3.5 m high dam built in 1941, which due to its age now has a series of cracks through which water seeps. The lake covers an area of 216 hectares and is on average 1.5–2 m deep. It has a length of about 3 km with a maximum width of about 400 m.
The only tributary of the lake, which is used for the commercial cultivation of valuable fish species, is the Bokowenka , which flows 8 km downstream into the Inhulez , which is dammed up into the Karachunivka reservoir .
