Chu Bingjie is a Chinese pool player .
Career
After finishing 33rd at the China Open in 2012 and 2013 , Chu Bingjie reached the round of 16 at the 2014 China Open , where he lost to Chang Yu-Lung , the eventual winner of the tournament. In February 2015 he moved into the semifinals of the Chinese 8-Ball World Championship , in which he was defeated by the eventual winner Darren Appleton with 13:15. He lost the subsequent game for third place against his compatriot Liu Haitao . He also reached the semi-finals at the China Open 2015 and lost it to the eventual tournament winner, the Austrian Albin Ouschan . In September 2015 he took part in the 9-Ball World Championship for the first time, but was eliminated in the preliminary round after a 9: 6 win against Khalid Yousuf and defeats against David Alcaide and Toh Lian Han . At the Japan Open 2015 he was eliminated in the round of 64 against Hayato Hijikata . At the Chinese 8-Ball World Championship 2016 he reached the quarter-finals, which he lost to Appleton 9:13. At the 9-Ball World Cup in 2016 , he made it to the round of 16, in which he was defeated by the Greek Alexander Kazakis 7:11.
