Chang Yu-Lung is a Taiwanese pool player .

Career

After Chang was eliminated from the 10-Ball World Cup in 2008 with just one win in the preliminary round, he managed to move into the final round in 2009 . There he was defeated 8: 9 by the eventual vice world champion Lee Van Corteza in the round of 16 . In 2011, Chang finished 25th at the Philippines Open and 32nd at the Beijing Open. He was then eliminated from both the 10-ball World Cup and the 9-ball World Cup in the round of 16. At the Japan Open he came in third place. At the 9-Ball World Championships in 2012 and 2013 , Chang was eliminated in the round of 64. In 2012 he came third at the China Open and 17th at the 2013 Japan Open .

In June 2014, Chang managed to win the China Open by beating the Philippine Jeffrey Ignacio in the final . He also managed to reach the semifinals at the 9-Ball World Cup in 2014 , including victories against former world champions Stephan Cohen and Wu Jiaqing . However, he lost this against the eventual vice world champion Albin Ouschan with 7:11. In November 2014, he made it to the semi-finals of the Japan Open , which he lost to Naoyuki Ōi . After being eliminated in the round of 64 at the 2015 10-Ball World Cup , Chang reached the round of 16 of the 2015 9-Ball World Cup , losing to Shane van Boening . In November 2015 he won the Steinway Classic with a 13:11 victory in the final against Ko Ping-chung .

Chang has taken part in the World Cup of Pool twice so far . After 2014 , together with Hsu Kai-lun in the first round against the Qataris Waleed Majid and Bashar Hussain had resigned, he succeeded in 2015 in collaboration with Ko Pin-yi the tournament with a 10: 8 victory in the final against the British Mark Gray and Daryl Peach to win.
