Japan Open 2013

The Japan Open 2013 (officially: All Japan Open Championship 2013 , also: All Japan Open 2013 ) was a pool tournament that took place from November 18 to 24, 2013 in the Archaic Hall in Amagasaki , Japan .

The winner of the men's tournament was the Taiwanese Ko Pin-yi , who defeated the defending champion Chang Jung-Lin in the final. After 2011, Ko Pin-yi won this tournament for the second time. Thorsten Hohmann was the only European to reach the semi-finals, which he lost to a knockout. He was also the only German to reach the round of 64. Akimi Kajitani from Japan won the women's tournament in the final against Chihiro Kawahara . After 2000, it was her second title at the Japan Open.
