Han Haoxiang (born May 19, 1990 ) is a Chinese pool player .

Career

In 2008 Han Haoxiang took part in all tournaments on the Guinness 9-Ball Tour , but never came out of ninth place. In the first two events of the 10-Ball World Cup in 2008 and 2009 , he was eliminated without a win in the preliminary round. In November 2010 he achieved his best result in a world ranking tournament by reaching the round of 32 of the All Japan Championship . In May 2011 he made it into the final round for the first time at a world championship: He reached the round of 32 at the 10-ball World Cup , in which he had to admit defeat to Lee Van Corteza 4-9 . A little later, however, he was eliminated in the preliminary round of the 9-Ball World Cup . At the All Japan Championship 2011 he reached the round of 16.

In 2012, Han reached the final round of the 9-Ball World Cup for the first time and was defeated by the Dutchman Nick van den Berg 9:11 in the round of 32 . At the China Open 2012 he reached the quarter-finals, in which he was eliminated against the eventual tournament winner Dennis Orcollo . After the US Open 2012 , in which he finished 33rd, Han achieved his best placement in the world rankings with 18th place. After he was eliminated in the preliminary round at the China Open 2013 , he lost in the 9-ball competition of the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in the round of 16 against Irsal Nasution and was also eliminated in the preliminary round at the 2013 9-ball World Cup . At the end of the year he came back to 33rd place at the US Open and at the All Japan Championship in the round of 16, in which he lost to eventual tournament winner Ko Pin-yi . In 2014 he only took part in one world ranking tournament, the CBSA International Open , and was eliminated early. In 2015 Han reached the semifinals of the All Japan Championship , where he lost 4:11 to Ronato Alcano from the Philippines .

In early 2016, Han was eliminated in the preliminary round of the Chinese 8-Ball World Championship . In July he took part in the 9-ball world championship for the first time since 2013 , where he reached the sixteenth-finals, which he lost to Dang Jinhu . A few weeks later he reached the second round of the Kuwait Open and had to admit defeat to Dang again. By making it to the round of 16, he made it into the top 16 of the world rankings for the first time. At the All Japan Championship 2016 he was eliminated in the round of 64 with 10:11 against Warren Kiamco . In June 2017 he reached the last sixteen at the China Open and thus improved to 15th place in the world rankings.

Team career

In 2012 , Han was part of Team China 2 at the World Team Championship , which reached the semi-finals.
