Career

In 2007 Dang retired with just one win in the preliminary round of the 9-Ball World Cup . At the 10-Ball World Cup a year later , he was without a win in the preliminary round. At the Asian 9-Ball-Tour in 2008 he reached 17th place once. In June 2009, Dang finished 33rd at the China Open . At the 10-Ball World Cup in 2009 he reached the round of 32, but lost there against the Swede Marcus Chamat 7: 9. At the 9-ball World Cup 2010 he also reached the sixteenth finals. There he was defeated by the Filipino Ronato Alcano with 7:11. He had reached the final round of the 9-ball World Cup for the first time.

In April 2011, Dang Jinhu finished ninth at the Beijing Open. At the 10-Ball World Cup , like two years earlier, he was eliminated in the round of 32. Dang finished 33rd at the China Open in June 2011, as well as at the 9-Ball World Cup . In the round of the last 64 it lost against the Englishman Darren Appleton 6:11. At the China Open 2012, Dang was ninth. In October 2012 he also achieved his best result so far at the US Open 9-Ball , 17th place.

In May 2013, Dang finished 13th at the China Open. In July he finished seventh at the US Open in 10-ball. In 8-ball, he finished 17th at the US Open. At the 9-Ball World Cup in June 2014, Dang reached the sixteenth-finals, but lost it against the American Shane van Boening 4:11. At the 9-Ball World Cup in 2015 , he was eliminated in the round of 64 against Francisco Díaz-Pizarro .

So far, Dang Jinhu has taken part in the World Cup of Pool once. He reached the quarter-finals with double partner Wang Can in 2014 , but they were lost to Austria ( Albin Ouschan and Mario He ).

With the Chinese national team, he has taken part in the World Team Championship three times . In 2010 , she was eliminated in the quarter-finals in a shoot-out against eventual world champions Great Britain. In 2012 , the second team made it to the semi-finals in the shoot-out against the eventual runner-up in Japan. In 2014 he became world champion with the second team in the final against the Philippines.
