Marc Vidal Claramunt (born January 29, 1976 ) is a Spanish pool player .

Career

After Marc Vidal had already achieved 13th place in a tournament on the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour in 2001 and 2004, he was fourth in a tournament on the NYC Billiards Tour in 2005. In January 2006 he came 25th place in 9-ball at the Derby City Classic and was ninth in a tournament on the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour. In 2007 he finished 27th in the One Pocket at the Derby City Classic . In 2007 he also won a tournament on the Joss Northeast Tour, the Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour and the Blaze ABCD 9-Ball Tour. He also finished second and third once on the Blaze Tour and fourth twice on the Joss Tour.

At the Derby City Classic 2008, Vidal finished ninth in 14/1 endlessly . In August 2008 he took part in a world championship for the first time. However, he was eliminated in the group stage at the 14/1 Endless World Cup . In 2008 he also won the New England 9-Ball Tournament, the North Jersey 14.1 Quarterly as well as two tournaments on the Blaze Tour and a tournament on the Predator Pro-Am 9-Ball Tour, fifth at a tournament on the Seminole Pro Tour on the Joss Tour Fourth.

In January 2009 Vidal reached 21st place in the One Pocket at the Derby City Classic. He also won a tournament on the Predator Pro-Am 9-Ball Tour, was second twice there and once on the Joss Tour. At the Derby City Classic 2010, Vidal reached 20th place in one pocket and 30th place in 9-ball. In March 2010 he finished second in a tournament on the Mezz Pro Am Tour. In 2010 he was also ninth at the Hard Times 10-Ball Open and the NYC 9-Ball Championship, and reached 33rd place at the US Open . In 2011, Vidal finished 23rd in the One Pocket Derby City Classic, fifth in the Super Billiard Expo and California One Pocket Challenge, and second in the Seattle Open.

In 2012 he finished second in the CSI 9-Ball Challenge, reached 15th place in the One Pocket at the Southern Classic and 65th place at the US Open. In March 2013, Vidal finished third at the Wyoming Open. In the Ultimate 10-Ball Championship he came in 17th place. In September 2013 he took part in a World Cup for the second time, but was eliminated in the preliminary round of the 9-Ball World Cup . At the US Open 2013 he came in 65th place, at the All Japan Open he lost to the Canadian John Morra in the sixteenth finals . In March 2014, Vidal finished fifth in the Nick Varner Classic . At the Derby City Classic 2015 , Vidal finished 36th in 9-Ball. In March 2015, Vidal won the Wyoming Open Masters in 10-ball in the final against Johnny Archer .

Marc Vidal currently lives in the Brooklyn borough of New York .
