ChueLee is a dialect music group from Switzerland . Christian Duss and Urs Lötscher are among the most sought-after live artists in German-speaking Switzerland, with well over 100 performances each year and several 10,000 CDs sold. All of their albums made it into the Swiss music charts straight away . Trademarks of the two are clothing, musical instruments and at times even their own tractor in a cow look.
In 2007 the duo received the Prix Walo , the most important award in Swiss show business.
Band history
The farmer's sons Christian Duss and Willy Vogel grew up together. They went to the same school and loved music from an early age. In 2000 they founded the ChueLee formation. Her mix of rock, pop, dialect and folk elements quickly made her a fixture on the Swiss dialect music scene. While ex-musicians from the band Snail were still part of the group when it was founded, Christian Duss and Willy Vogel performed mainly as a duo. The duo was only supported by a band for bigger gigs. Due to personal differences, Willy Vogel left the group at the beginning of 2009 and Urs Lötscher took his place. In addition, in alternation with Urs Lötscher, Adamo Häller was brought into the team as the second handler.
