Chukwuma "Chuma" Okeke (born August 18, 1998 ) is an American basketball player . He is under contract with the Orlando Magic .

career

Okeke, whose father is from Nigeria , grew up in Atlanta , Georgia , and played for the local Westlake High School. In 2017 he moved to Auburn University and played 72 games (9.9 points and 6.3 rebounds / stake) for the university team by the end of the 2018/19 game year. He made a name for himself there with his good throwing technique, his versatility and his accuracy in throwing from distance.

In April 2019 he announced his move to the professional camp. The Orlando Magic  secured the rights to Okeke in the NBA draft proceedings  in June 2019 in 16th place.
