The Cieślar or Česlar is a mountain in Poland and the Czech Republic . It lies on the border between the Polish city of Wisła and the Czech municipality of Nýdek . With a height of 920 m, it is one of the lower mountains in the Czantoria ridge of the Silesian Beskids . The mountain is a popular tourist destination with many views of the neighboring mountains and the lowlands. The peak is covered with floodplains and, unlike most of the peaks of the Silesian Beskids, is not forested. The name goes back to the family name Cieślar. As early as 1621 there were four families in Wisła who had this surname.

Several marked hiking trails from the Polish and Czech sides lead to the top. The main Beskydy hiking trail from Ustroń to Wołosate in the Bieszczady also runs over the ridge .
