The Kazimierz-Sosnowski-Beskids main hiking trail ( pol . Główny Szlak Beskidzki imienia Kazimierza Sosnowskiego , GSB ) is a red-marked long-distance hiking trail that leads from Ustroń in the Silesian Beskids to Wołosate in the Bieszczady .
The longest hiking trail in the Polish mountains with 496 km, crosses the Silesian Beskids , the Żywiec-Beskids ( Beskid Żywiecki ), the Gorce, the Beskid Sądecki, the Low Beskids and the Bieszczady. Leading over the highest parts of the Polish Beskids , it gives access to: Stożek Wielki ( Czech : Velký Stožek), Barania Góra , Babia Góra , Polica , Turbacz , Lubań , Przehyba, Radziejowa , Jaworzyna Krynicka, Rotunda, Cergowa, Chryszczata and Halicz. The following towns are on the way: Ustroń , Węgierska Górka , Jordanów , Rabka-Zdrój , Krościenko nad Dunajcem , Rytro , Krynica-Zdrój , Iwonicz-Zdrój , Rymanów-Zdrój , Komańcza , Cisna , Ustrzyki Górne u. a.
The main Beskydy hiking trail was created during the interwar period . The route of the western part (Ustroń-Krynica) was designed by Kazimierz Sosnowski and finished in 1929. The eastern part, based on a project by Mieczysław Orłowicz, was completed in 1935 and led to the Tschornohora in the Ukrainian Eastern Carpathians , which was then within the borders of Poland. From 1935 to 1939 he was named Józef Piłsudski .

Records
Maciej Więcek (inov-8 team PL) was currently the fastest ascent between June 20 and 24, 2013 in 114 hours and 50 minutes. It replaced Piotr Kłosowicz's record, which had existed for almost 7 years, and which took 168 hours in September 2006.
