The Turbacz is with a height of 1310 m (according to other sources the height is 1314 m) the highest peak of the Gorce Mountains in the Beskids in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . The mountain, surrounded by dense pine forests, is located north-northeast of the city of Nowy Targ on the edge of the Gorce National Park .

Access

Turbacz and Hala Długa

Eight marked access routes lead to Turbacz, including the main Beskydy hiking trail . On the mountain at an altitude of 1283 m there is a shelter of the PTTK tourist club with 100 beds, from which there is a good view of the Tatras and the Pienin Mountains .
