history

Before 1945 the village belonged to the province of Pomerania and was called Temnick . Originally it was a manor , the owner of which was owed a feud to the Pomeranian dukes. After the Pomeranian dukes died out, it was bought by Adam Sigismund von Delitz in the 17th century , and it was then an ancestral home of the Delitz family . In 1789 the estate was sold by Berend Ludwig von Delitz and taken over by another owner.

The region in which the village is located was placed under Polish administration after the end of the Second World War, together with all of Western Pomerania.

Today the village has about 160 inhabitants.
