The Presanella ( Italian Cima Presanella ; 3556  m slm ) is a mountain in the Italian Southern Alps and the highest point of the Adamello-Presanella Alps .

The first ascent was on August 25, 1864 by Douglas William Freshfield , HA (or M.) Beachcroft, ID (or H.) Walker with 2 guides, including François Devouassoud. The sources contradict each other about the exact identity of the British who were involved other than Freshfield. Only three weeks later, on September 17, 1864, Julius Payer managed the second ascent.
