Cingonius Varro
Cingonius Varro († 68) was an imperial Roman politician. After the assassination of City Prefect Lucius Pedanius Secundus in 61, he unsuccessfully applied for his freedmen to be deported from Italy.
Cingonius Varro was consul- designate for 69 . In 68 he wrote a speech to the Praetorian Guard for the ambitious Praetorian Prefect Nymphidius Sabinus , who wanted to usurp power in Rome . Because of this, Emperor Galba ordered his execution.
