Ciro Ippolito

Ciro Ippolito (born June 27, 1947 in Naples ) is an Italian film director , film producer and actor .

Life

The son of a theater impresario played as a child a role in Classe di ferro by Turi Vasile . After working in the theater himself from the mid-1960s, he returned to filming as an actor in 1972. After this career did not progress, he started in 1977 with the production and scripting of his own films, including several with the Neapolitan singer Mario Merola , which were big box-office hits in this region.

From 1980 he also staged one of the alien epigones, Alien, the seeds of horror returns , under the pseudonym Sam Cromwell . After focusing on television work in the early 1990s, he returned to the big screen in 2004. Vaniglia e cioccolato , however, failed to achieve major success.
