The Citadel Bastion is a 645 m high, rocky and flattened mountain on the east coast of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It rises on the southern flank of the mouth of the Saturn Glacier in the George VI Sound .
Trimetrogon recordings by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947-1948) and measurements made by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey between 1948 and 1950 were used to map the mountain. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on December 31, 1964 after its resemblance to a citadel .
