Julius Trautzl

Julius Trautzl (born October 21 or 22, 1859 in Arco , Tyrol , Austrian Empire , † April 22, 1958 in Vienna ) was an Austrian sculptor and medalist .

He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and was a student of Edmund von Hellmer and Caspar von Zumbusch (1830–1915). He was a professor at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Vienna (now the University of Applied Arts Vienna ) and, among other things, a member of the cooperative of visual artists in Vienna. His grave of honor is in the central cemetery in Vienna.
