The Ciudad de Floridablanca 2017 took place from March 8th to 11th 2017 in Floridablanca , Colombia . The women's squash tournament, which was held for the first time, was part of the Women's PSA World Tour 2016/17 and belonged to the PSA 70 category .
The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Catalina Peláez a spot in the main draw.
At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 70,000.
