Civico painter
The Civico Painter was an Attic - black-figure vase painter , whose real name is not known. His works are dated between 575 and 555 BC. Dated. It got its name from the Museo Civico in Orvieto , where one of his works is kept.
The Civico painter is considered to be a qualitatively rather poor artist who specialized in the decoration of Siana bowls . However, he could not the artistic qualities of the approximately C-painter , the Heidelberg-painter or the painter from Boston CA reach. His elaborate figures have small eyes and heads.
