The painter from Boston CA (also painter from Boston CA ) was an Attic - black-figure vase painters. His works are dated between 575 and 555 BC. Dated.
The painter from Boston CA got his emergency name from his name vase , which is located in Boston and shows Kirke with Acheloos . Along with the C painter and the Heidelberg painter, he is one of the three Siana bowl painters of noteworthy quality. His style is reminiscent of that of the C painter. Some of his siana bowls have black lips, as they later became typical for ribbon bowls . The plant ornament of one of his vases is strongly reminiscent of the work of the Komasten group .
