Cláudio Ramos (born November 11, 1973 in Luanda , Angola ) is a Portuguese television presenter and actor, radio host and writer. In 2015 he became known nationwide in the most spectacular interview in Portuguese TV history to date.

Live and act

Cláudio Ramos comes from the poorest of backgrounds. His stepfather treated him and his brothers very badly. Cláudio sometimes went hungry as a child, as the stepfather preferred to give his food to the dogs to eat than to the child.

At the age of sixteen, Cláudio first came to radio, where he worked as a presenter and still is occasionally today. This was followed by engagements with small and supporting roles in some series on Portuguese television, starting in 1998. Ramos has been known as a writer since 2002.

For the Portuguese private broadcaster SIC he has been a presenter in programs such as " As duas por tres ", " SIC 10 Horas " and since 2015 in " Contra Capa ".

On December 15, 2015, Cláudio Ramos gave the presenter Daniel Oliveira a long, intimate and spectacular interview on the program "Alta Definições" that kept the Portuguese public busy for weeks. In it he told of his poor childhood, of his homosexuality long hidden by a marriage of convenience with Susanna Moniz , his biological daughter and his very serious heart disease, which forces him to take pills every day and can kill him every day.
