Claire Bernhardt

Claire Bernhardt (born January 9, 1860 in Breslau ; † August 24, 1909 there ) was a German writer .

Life

At a young age she married the businessman and later factory director Bernhardt, with whom she moved to Kreuzburg in Upper Silesia . Only in 1905 did she move back to Breslau, where she died four years later.

Bernhardt initially wrote novellas , travel letters and other small works for various Silesian newspapers. There were also several dramas. From 1905, her works were published by publishers, including her first novel, Johanniskind, in 1907. Your novel Half Man.
