Claude E. Shannon Award
The Claude E. Shannon Award , named after the founder of information theory, Claude E. Shannon , is an award that has been presented by the IEEE Information Theory Society since 1972 and is usually an annual award. It is awarded for theoretically extensive work in the field of information theory .
The award winner will have the opportunity to present his work at the IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory .
