Claude Rijmenans

Claude Rijmenans (born November 10, 1948 in Rome ) is a former Belgian diplomat .

Life

Claude Rijmenans studied social science, entered the foreign service in 1975, was accredited in The Hague , in 1978 in Bangkok embassy secretary, in London and in Mexico . From 1990 to 1992 he was consul general in Toronto and in 1992 in Casablanca . From 2000 to 2004 he was ambassador to Athens, from October 2004 to April 2008 he was ambassador to Madrid and from 2008 to 2010 he was ambassador to Vienna.
