Claudia and Alexx (also in the spelling Claudia & Alexx ) were a German-Austrian singing duo who worked musically in the style range between folk hits and hit pop.

Career

The singing duo Claudia and Alexx consisted of the Bavarian Claudia Pletz from Eging am See in Lower Bavaria (* 1987) and the Styrian Alexander Hebenstreit (* 1991). Before the two met in a music studio, Pletz had already sung in various Bavarian rock bands. Hebenstreit is instrumental, plays the piano and the Styrian harmonica and attended the music high school in his home town of Graz . The duo is compared to Marianne and Michael , also a German-Austrian pair of musicians. The greatest success so far was the third place in the finals for the Grand Prix of Folk Music 2006 with the title Seventeen Summer . At the Grand Prix of Folk Music 2007 they reached the 7th place in the preliminary round with the title Believe in what your heart says , and at the Grand Prix of Folk Music 2008 in the 6th place with the title An angel protects you too . At the Grand Prix of Folk Music 2009 on August 29th, they were just fourth behind Pastor Franz Brei and signum , the mountain comrades with Oswald Sattler and Vincent and Fernando . Claudia and Alexx's recordings are published by Koch Universal Media . In June 2010, Pletz and Hebenstreit decided to go their own musical ways and parted ways.
