Claudia Lössl (author)

Claudia Lössl (* April 14, 1975 as Claudia Häusler in Düsseldorf ; † December 5, 2015 ) was a German fantasy author . She published under the pseudonyms Aileen P. Roberts and CS West .

Life

Claudia Lössl studied social pedagogy after a broken bank apprenticeship. At the age of 19 she traveled to Scotland for the first time, discovered her “Celtic soul” there and bought a cottage there in spring 2012 with her husband Stephan . In addition to her job, she worked as a writer, riding instructor and riding pedagogue. In addition to her fantasy novels , she has written novels for young people , historical novels , short stories and novellas.

In 2009 she made her breakthrough as a fantasy author with her two- parter Thondras Kinder , published by Goldmann Verlag . Her historical fantasy novel The Feenturm took second place at the German Fantasy Prize 2013.

Claudia Lössl died on December 5, 2015 at the age of 40.
