Claudia Paganini

Claudia Paganini , née Mathis , (born January 7, 1978 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian author.

Life

After attending grammar school in Innsbruck, Paganini studied theology and philosophy at Innsbruck University . In 2001 she finished her theology studies with a thesis on the figure of Leviathan in the Book of Job . A year later she received her second master's degree in philosophy at the theological faculty with a thesis on the philosophical basis of human rights. She received her doctorate in 2004 with a cultural-philosophical thesis on the failure in Dürrenmatt's work . She was chair of the student council and worked for the journal Baustelle Theologie of the theological faculty. In the same year she did her doctorate sub auspiciis Praesidentis rei publicae .

During her studies in 2001 she published her first novel, several short stories and a volume of poetry.

Married to Simone Paganini , Professor of Biblical Theology at RWTH Aachen University , with whom she wrote several non-fiction books, she had their first daughter in 2003, a son in 2005 and their second daughter in 2007. She works as a non-fiction author and freelance journalist in Innsbruck. Since September 2010 she has been an assistant at the Institute for Christian Philosophy at Innsbruck University .

After the Andreas Hofer commemorative year 2009, she and the historian Richard Schober published the official commemorative volume on behalf of the State of Tyrol .
