Claudia Rieth
Claudia Rieth (born February 10, 1970 in Neuss ) is a former German basketball player .
career
Rieth played in the Bundesliga with TG Neuss in the late 1980s . In 1987 she took part with the German selection at the European Cadet Championship in Poland , she scored an average of 6.1 points per encounter in seven tournaments. Rieth was named Sportswoman of the Year in 1987 by the Neuss-Grevenbroicher Zeitung . At the end of July 1988, Rieth competed with the BRD selection at the European Junior Championships and recorded the highest average of the German players with 11.7 points per use.
She played for Bundesliga club BC Wolfenbüttel , and later until 1999 at SV Halle . In the run-up to the 1999/2000 season, Rieth moved to the second division club SC Rist Wedel and rose to the first division with this in March 2000. She then played for Wedel in 2000/2001, also in the highest German league and moved into the German cup final in March 2001, which she lost with Wedel against Wuppertal.
