Claudia Uhle

Claudia Uhle (born March 15, 1976 in East Berlin ) is a German singer and singing teacher. She is the front woman of the group X-Perience and has been singing for her solo project Angelzoom since 2004 .

Musical education

Claudia Uhle first took flute and piano lessons as a child , but was more interested in singing . To finance her singing lessons, she worked in Berlin as an organist for many church parishes in church services. Claudia Uhle attended the Georg Friedrich Handel High School in Berlin , a music specialty school. During her school days she sang in various choirs, even as a teenager at the German State Opera .

X-Perience

After her training, she joined the pop group X-Perience in 1995, in which her brother Matthias Uhle was also active. In 1996 they had their breakthrough with the piece A Neverending Dream . In 2007, X-Perience and Claudia Uhle parted ways.

In 2004 she started her solo project Angelzoom . Similar to the third X-Perience Album Journey of Life mixed Angelzoom Ethno - and folk influences with moderate trance rhythms.

In 2004, the metal label Nuclear Blast , which classifies this type of music as "Dark Ambient Electronic", released the debut single Fairyland . The title was able to place itself in the German charts. Back in the Moment , a duet with Joachim Witt , was released in early 2005 .

The shooting of the video for the single The Things You Said , originally by Depeche Mode , took place in Dublin in mid-May 2010 . The single was released on September 10, 2010, followed two weeks later by the album Nothing is Infinite .

A planned live DVD and the third album were postponed to 2014, the first single A Lily of the Valley from the upcoming album Gathering Points was released on December 20, 2013.
