Claudia Villiger (born September 25, 1969 ) is a former Swiss figure skater and ice skating coach .
Career
After a promising junior career (including 8th place in the 1983 Junior World Championship), she became Swiss champion in women's figure skating in 1985 . She was able to defend this title twice.
At the international level, Villiger also achieved respectable results with sixth place at the 1986 European Championship and 13th place at the 1987 World Championship.
After her sporting career, she made a name for herself from 1989 as an ice skating trainer and choreographer at the Illnau-Effretikon ice skating club . She trained Nicole Brüngger-Skoda , among others .
