Romy Bühler (born September 23, 1994 in Zurich ) is a Swiss figure skater.

Career

Bühler started figure skating in 1998. During her junior years she played for SC Küsnacht. At her first Swiss championships together with the elite in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 2009 , she finished second behind Nicole Graf and also took part in the Junior World Championships for the first time in the same year. In the following season she was third at the Swiss Championships and reached thirteenth place at the Junior World Championships. In addition, she has already started in some elite competitions and achieved 5th place in the Mont Blanc Trophy as the best placement . In January 2011, at the age of 16, she was the second Swiss runner next to Sarah Meier to start at the European Championships in Bern and was 16.

After a form crisis in autumn 2011, after eight years of working with Linda van Troyen at SC Küsnacht, she moved to Winterthur SC . There she was looked after by Eva Fehr , former trainer of the European champion Sarah Meier, as well as Nicole Brüngger-Skoda and Patrick Meier . Under the new leadership, she became Swiss champion in 2011 and qualified for the European and World Championships, where she reached 20th and 23rd respectively.

In 2013 she resigned at the age of 18.
