Claudia Wessel

Claudia Wessel (born November 9, 1958 ) is a German writer and journalist.

life and work

Claudia Wessel grew up in the Hessian district of Marburg-Biedenkopf . After graduating from high school, she studied American studies and media studies in Marburg , Gießen and Williamsburg (Virginia) . She completed her studies with a Magister Artium . She has lived in Munich since 1988 and has three grown children.

In 2004 her volume of short stories, Zu Dritt , was published, in which she drastically addressed sexuality. The battle of the sexes, which manifests itself primarily in sexuality, also plays the main role in the novel Affair (2005) and the volume of short stories Mein Fremdder Körper (2007).
