Claudius Muth (* 1967 in Stuttgart ) is a German opera singer ( bass ).

Life

Muth studied at the Vienna University of Music with Mezrickzky Karusso and Walter Berry and continued his studies with Jewgenij Nesterenko , Giuseppe Valdengo and Paolo Washington .

In 1992 Claudius Muth received the Richard Wagner scholarship in Bayreuth ; In 1995/96 he was a member of the Opera Studio of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich . Permanent engagements took him to Wuppertal and Gelsenkirchen from 1996 to 2001, to Aachen from 2001 to 2005 and from 2005 to 2007 to the State Theater on Gärtnerplatz in Munich. Guest performances have taken him to theaters such as the Bavarian State Opera in Munich , Hamburg State Opera, Stuttgart State Opera, Salzburg Festival, National Theater Zagreb, Teatro Wielki Poznan, Teatro del la Maestranza (Seville), Wiener Klangsommer and various German theaters such as Theater Bremen, Theater Kiel, Theater Dortmund , Theater Hagen etc.
