Claves Records is a Swiss record label based in Pully , Canton of Vaud .
history
More than 350 CDs have been released. Musicians such as Peter-Lukas Graf , Jörg Ewald Dähler , Heinz Holliger , Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau , Simone Zgraggen , Peter Mieg , Teresa Berganza , Marcello Viotti , Fabio Luisi , Jean-Luc Darbellay , Maurice Steger , Nathan Milstein , Maria have released on the label Riccarda Wesseling and Christian Ferras . Recordings by the label have won several awards.
The music publishing house was founded in 1968 by Marguerite Dütschler-Huber in Thun and was run by her until the end of 2000 as the sole proprietorship “Claves Record and Music Publishing, Marguerite Dütschler-Huber”. After that, the company was converted into a stock corporation under the name "Claves Records SA" . In 2003 Claves Records was acquired by the Clara Haskil Foundation and in 2008 the headquarters were moved to Pully in the canton of Vaud.
With the sale of the music publisher, Marguerite Dütschler-Huber withdrew from the company. She died almost three years later, at the beginning of May 2006. Antonin Scherrer has been managing director of Claves Records since 2003.
