The Clear Creek ( English for "Klarer Bach") is a river in the south of the US state Texas .
It has its source in Fort Bend County - about 300 meters from the KTRK TV transmission mast and about 1.6 kilometers west of the Blue Ridge oil well . From there, it flows 41 miles east and passes through Harris County , Brazoria County, and Galveston County . There it flows into Galveston Bay .
The river bed consists of clay or sandy soil , the vegetation along the course of the river mainly consists of deciduous trees and pines .
