Clemens Menken

Clemens August Menken (born December 15, 1812 in Neviges ; † February 15, 1907 in Cologne ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Clemens August Menken studied theology and philology as well as law at the University of Bonn . Then he was an auscultator , assessor at the regional court and finally regional judge in Cologne.

From 1873 to 1898 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the Mayen - Cochem district and from 1877 to 1893 of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Cologne District 2 (Cologne District) and the German Center Party .
