Clemens Nieting

Clemens Nieting (born May 28, 1964 in Kiel ) is a former member of the Hamburg Parliament ( CDU ).

Professional and Political

Nieting had been working full-time in the party headquarters of the CDU Hamburg since 1989 as an organizational officer. The CDU regional association in Hamburg separated from him in August 2005 by mutual agreement.

He was a district member of the Hamburg-Nord district assembly and was last chairman of the parliamentary group there .

From March 2004 to March 2005 he was a member of the citizenship of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg . As such, he was a member of the European Committee.

Resignation from the citizenship

Nieting resigned his mandate on March 31, 2005 after the Hamburg Public Prosecutor's Office had launched an investigation into the possession and distribution of child pornographic material against him. For him, drew Alexander-Martin Sardina after.
