Clemens Schwaiger

Clemens Schwaiger SDB (born May 16, 1962 in Aichach ) is a German friar and Roman Catholic philosopher .

Life

He grew up in Radersdorf . After graduating from the Holbein-Gymnasium in Augsburg in 1981, he studied philosophy at the University of Philosophy in Munich from 1981 to 1986 , where he obtained his Magister Artium in 1986. From 1981 to 1988 he studied Catholic theology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , where he obtained a diploma in Catholic theology in 1988. He completed his doctoral studies (1990–1993) in Trier in 1993 as Dr. phil. from. Since 1996 he has been teaching philosophy at the Philosophical-Theological College of the Salesians Don Bosco in Benediktbeuern . After habilitation in philosophy at the University of Trier in 1998, he has been professor of philosophy at the Philosophical-Theological University of the Salesians Don Bosco in Benediktbeuern and a lecturer at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in Munich since 1999 .
