Clement von der Wisch (* around 1480; † 1545 in Uetersen ) was lord of Hanerau and provost of Uetersen.

Life

Clement von der Wisch came from the noble family von der Wisch , who were wealthy in the 15th century. He was the son of Otto von der Wisch, gentleman at Gut Rundhof and a born von Ratlow. Clement was a Holstein nobleman and lord in Hanerau and from 1532 monastery provost in Uetersen . In 1542 he bought the places Möntrecht and Widfleht, five people, the Raboise farm in Raa , the former seat of the Knights of Raboisen and several fields in the parish of Horst . He was one of the most important provosts of the monastery, and under him the Reformation took placein Uetersen. He carried out the post of provost until his death, he died in Uetersen in 1545. His successor was Otto Rantzau .
